May 27th, the humanitarian coordinator in Yemen, Jamie McGoldrick, called on all warning parties to uphold their duties to protect civilians under the international humanitarian law.
“I urge all parties to the conflict to stop fighting and give the Yemeni people an opportunity for peace and tranquility that is needed during this festive season,” Jamie McGoldrick Said
He also stressed on the importance of facilitating access to medical facilities for all the sick and wounded and to allow humanitarian and medical supplies into all areas.
