Malaysia announced formally the withdrew from the alliance against Yemen and withdrew its military forces from Saudi Arabia .
Malaysian Defense Minister Mohammad Sabo confirmed that his country’s troops had been officially withdrawn from Saudi Arabia, adding that the decision was made by the government last week and expressed his country’s readiness to evacuate its citizens in Yemen in the event of a crisis, according to Malaysia Today .
Sabo stressed that Malaysia wants good relations with all except Israel .
The Malaysian defense minister said that his country’s forces did not participate during the period of deployment in Saudi Arabia, neither in the war in Yemen nor in operations against the terrorist organization ISIS . He pointed out that Malaysia has practiced from the beginning the policy of non-alignment and does not tend to any ideological idea of the world powers .
The Malaysian government announced last week that it is considering withdrawing its forces deployed in Saudi Arabi .
