International Save the Children has accused the US-Saudi alliance of pushing Yemenis to the brink of famine .
In a statement issued on Tuesday the organization Called for accountability of those responsible for the prevention of food and medicine for children and warned that more than half a million children in the conflict zones will suffer severe hunger before the end of this year .
The organization said “It is shameful to use starvation as a weapon in wars. The United Nations announced in May that Yemen is facing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, stressed that the Yemeni people are steadily descending into famine”
