The Doctors Without Borders (MSF) organisation has on Saturday said that the acts of violence in the field hospitals supported by MSF threaten the continuation of its work in the province of Taiz.

“The exchange of fire between gunmen inside the emergency room in the Public Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz city yesterday (Friday, October 18) resulted in the killing of a patient and the injuring of one of the medical staff,” the organisation said in a tweet Saturday evening.

The organization expressed its condemnation and concern over the violence experienced by patients and doctors in the hospital.
