A correspondent of ‘Suhail’ TV channel belonging to Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition has confirmed that Marib city is just around the corner from falling under the grip of the Yemeni army and the popular committees.
“The battles have become very close to the city of Marib, and the city’s residents are hearing the sounds of clashes that are approaching every day more and more,” Suhail TV’s correspondent Abdul-Ilah al-Bouri said in a series of tweets on Twitter on Monday evening.
Al-Bouri explained that the situation is very dangerous and that he fears that Marib is now closer to the Sanaa forces more than the coalition forces.
He called on pro-coalition news websites and journalists to stop claiming false victories of the coalition forces, and to be alert to the next danger instead of distributing fake victories.
