President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat sent cables of congratulations to the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Aoun, on the occasion of the brotherly Lebanese people’s celebrations of Independence Day.
He said “I am pleased to send to Your Excellency the best wishes on the occasion of Independence Day, with my best wishes for good health and prosperity.”
” We stress our absolute support for your country in the face of the economic and political challenges it is facing, as well as in the face of Israeli ambitions, confident that Lebanon under your leadership is able to recover and get out of the economic crisis at the lowest costs.” he added
