Special Security Forces, the military arm of Islah, sent large reinforcements to the city of Ataq, the administrative center of the oil province of Shabwa, amid fears of a new rebellion.
Local sources reported that large reinforcements were provided from the stronghold of the “Islah ” in Wadi Hadramout and were distributed to the “Islah” camps in Ataq, explaining that a group of these forces entered the 21st Mika Brigade camp, while the rest were deployed in the Ataq Special Forces camp.
The reinforcements come in light of the new movements of these factions, in light of the efforts of the Congress governor to overthrow prominent leaders in Islah.
These factions continued to spread chaos in the province, as they opened fire on a hospital in the Nisab district, hours after clashes with the Laqmoush tribes.
