The Israeli Ministry of Security acknowledged on Wednesday that more than 10,000 Israeli soldiers have been injured since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7.

The Israeli Ministry of Security explained that “more than 1,000 new casualties are being absorbed into the ranks of the Israeli army every month.” It pointed out that “68%, the vast majority of those injured since the start of the war, are reserve soldiers in the army,” indicating that “more than 2,800 of the wounded are suffering from psychological reactions including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress symptoms.”

The occupation army had acknowledged the deaths of more than 690 officers and soldiers during the battles in Gaza since the start of the war.
