The Hamas Movement called on Monday on the mediators to intervene immediately to put an end to the Israeli ongoing crimes and violations. It also urged the international community to take serious steps to lift the blockade and halt the Israeli starvation policy.
Hamas emphasized that the ongoing Israeli crimes, the closing of crossings, the tightening of the blockade, and the food and water shortages that more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are experiencing, all demonstrate Benjamin Netanyahu’s government’s determination to avoid its responsibilities under the agreement and its disrespect for international and humanitarian law as well as the lives of its prisoners in Gaza.
The Movement added that the Israeli occupation’s willful targeting of innocent civilians is one of its ongoing grave breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
“The most recent of these violations was drone attacks in the central Gaza Strip that killed five Palestinians, bringing the total number of those killed since the ceasefire agreement was announced to about 160.”
