A press conference was held on Thursday in Sana’a on the violations committed by Saudi-led aggression coalition against Yemeni women.
In the conference, organized by “Entesaf Organization for Women and Children Rights” on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Deputy Minister of Human Rights Ali al-Dailami referred to the violations that Yemeni women and their rights have been subjected to for five years by the aggression coalition, while the world celebrates the day of women and their rights that are guaranteed to them by international laws and treaties.
Al-Dailami pointed out that the International Women’s Day in Yemen is dedicated to showcasing the crimes of murders, abuses and kidnappings that Yemen’s children and women are exposed to in full view of the world.
He said that the West world, which rants about the freedom of women and their rights, violates their dignity and humanity while Islam preserves the status and rights of women and safeguards their dignity.
