The son of the Vice-President of the Islah Shura Council in Dhale was shot by unknown gunmen on Tuesday.
Local sources said that Aqeel Salih al-Mukar was returning to his home in the city when gunmen attacked him on a motorcycle and shot him.
Al-Muaqar, who works as a deputy to the post manager in Dhale was wounded by several gunshots, and he was taken to the hospital, while a bicycle driver who was carrying him to the house was killed.
Dhale province is witnessing operations between UAE-backed factions and the Islah.
