Robert Jordan, the former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, said that Riyadh strategy in region’s events is to stand against Iran and blaming it for every negative action.
Jordan added that the aim of the Saudi-led coalition against Houthis in Yemen has no clear strategy, “they did not clarify their strategy, and it seems that the strategy is to stand against Iran and put Tehran behind every negative action especially in their Eastern region, Bahrain and now in Yemen.”
Jordan noted that they didn’t see the political aim of the war in Yemen until now, “I think it is possible that the war will turn against them.”
