50 Arab organizations call for an international investigation of Saudi aggression’s crimes in Yemen

Fifty human rights organizations from 13 Arab countries call to investigate the crimes committed by the Saudi aggression against Yemeni. 
in an open letter President and members of the Human Rights Council, the organizations expressed their support to the Dutch proposal to set up an international commission to investigate the war crimes committed in Yemen.
The statement of the organizations expressed their deeply concerned about the continued violation of human rights in Yemen and welcomed the Dutch proposal.
The organizations and activist are worried for the appointment of the Saudi ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva as the head of the Experts of Human Rights Committee Council, especially that Saudi Arabia is still practicing various forms of systematic discrimination against citizens, women’s rights, immigrants and foreign workers.
On the other hand, the human rights activist Donald Laurie organized a campaign via the Internet to remove Saudi Arabia from the UN Human Rights Council.
The campaign aimed of collect signatures of people from all over the world to remove Saudi Arabia from the UN Human Rights Council for violating human rights, especially in Yemen.
“My only hope is to make all people know and aware Saudi Arabia and its violations,” Laurie added.
