January 8th, the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees stopped an advancing attempt for Saudi-American mercenaries toward Khahpop district of Lahij province.
Military source confirmed that dozens of mercenaries have been killed and others were injured, including Saudi –American mercenaries commander of 3rd Brigade, Brigadier Omar al-Subaihi.
Moreover the same source indicated that the Saudi-American aggression warplanes launched several air strikes to back the mercenaries in their creep.
