Russia confirmed that the most important thing that the International Community can do for Yemen is to lift land, sea and air blocked against Yemeni people.
Gennadi Gatilov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister (Russian) said “The best way the global community can address the catastrophic situation in Yemen through putting an end to this senseless war,” calling to lift blocked and put an initiative to improve the situation in Yemen.
In the case the war going on it will benefit the terrorists originations and others extremists groups like ISIS and al-Qaida, Gennadi Gatilov added.
He renewed his call for an immediate initiative to improve the humanitarian situation in Yemen and lifting air, land and sea blockade with all its forms and reopening Sana’a International airport to access the humanitarian assistance to the country.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, warned of escalating the humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen if unacceptable adventure to storm the port of Hodeida and subsequent attack on the capital, stressing that it is unacceptable.
