May 21st , Lawyer for Human Rights in the Belgian International Organization (BAMRO) Hameed al -Hajili urged the United Nations to open Sana’a International Airport to resume flights to and from Sana’a airport, where thousands of Yemenis in the capital Sana’a live in difficult humanitarian conditions as a result of the closure of Sana’a international airport for more than eight months, Leaving the departure of the capital Sana’a as a difficult dream for many people trapped by the war in the country in which patients and injured people pay the highest cost in addition to Students and emigrants who wish to return home.
Al-Hajili confirmed that the continued closure of Sana’a international airport could result in suffering and depriving a large number of Yemenis of access to health care outside of Yemen, such as those suffering from incurable diseases and war wounded, which require medical care in specialized hospitals outside Yemen because Yemeni hospitals cannot provide them care.
He also called on the United Nations and European Union to take responsibility for what is happening in Yemen and to make more pressures on the coalition to lift blockade on Yemen
