May 7th, the minister of communications and Information Technology Jlidan Mahmoud Glidan said in a statement that the Saudi-American aggression targeted and destroyed deliberately more than 400 communications sites and network, including 333 Antenna ans transmission Stations for coverage of mobile phones related to Yemen Mobile and other private and governmental companies during the two-long years of aggression, stating that the material losses estimated by ( 76.896.881.828) billion Riyals .
Jildan confirmed that Yemen Mobile Company casualties estimated by 2.5 billion riyals and the ministry of Telecommunications and Information technology losses estimated by (37.48) billion riyals in addition to losing eight people of its experts and others injured during their work hours.
The minister pointed out that the Saudi-American aggression bombardment had affected the transmission and coverage of the communication networks causing huge casualties in infrastructure of the transmission stations and networks of communication , stressing that the Ministry’s institutions are doing great efforts to repair the damages , cables and air transmission stations to provide services to communication users.
He called on all citizens to direct their work and their potential to face the brutal aggression that targets all facilities of life in the country and committing the most heinous crimes against humanity and Yemeni people.
