Under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Information Mr. Ahmed Hamed, Al-Thawra Foundation for Press, Printing and Publishing launched the system of commodity card today.
The event held in the headquarters of Al-Thawra and headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abu Bakr Abdullah.
In the event Mr. Abubakr Abdulhah said that the launching event comes after the leadership of the Foundation’s efforts to ensure the completion of this project, which will reduce the burden of living suffered by the staff of the Foundation and other employees of all institutions that increased after the Saudi barbaric aggression on Yemen and the blockade imposed on the Yemenis.
The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Monther al-Shargabi congratulated the employees of Al-Thawra Foundation on the International Day of Labor Day and the launching of the commodity card system.
He pointed out that Al-Thawra Foundation is the first in completing the transactions related to the commodity card and has taken a positive step to alleviate their living conditions.
In his part, Ali Hamoud Saleh Al-Qarmani, Deputy General Manager of Al-Qarmani Foundation, reviewed the mechanism of working with the commodity card, stressing on the team spirit to cover all the needs of the employees.
Al-Qarmani, in a statement to Al-Thawra, said that the cards are money received by state employees and they are free to buy any of the specified supermarkets to include all employees of government and mixed sectors, adding that this service will contribute to alleviate the suffering of employees and support the government .
