The head of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-Samad,, met today Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Hisham Sharaf at the Presidential Palace in Sana’a, in the presence of the Vice-President of the Council Dr. Qassim Labouza and the Council Member Mohammad Al-Nuaimi,.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments of political situation in the region, and the position taken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the impact of these developments on the country.
They also reviewed the results of the contacts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Friends of Yemen as well as the actions and calls that could be adopted to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis as a result of the blockade imposed on Yemen as well as the closing of Sana’a international airport which has entered its third year.
They also discussed the efforts to bring peace that the Yemeni people deserve and the initiatives that are being made to achieve peace that will ensure the independence, unity, freedom and dignity of Yemen.
