Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met today with Resident Representative of WFP Stephen Anderson and Resident Representative of UNICEF Sherine Farkey.
During the meeting, they dealt with aspects and arrangements for the forthcoming visits of a number of officials of the United Nations agencies.
Hisham Sharaf Abdullah stressed on the importance of visiting and expanding food aid, the fact that the humanitarian situation in Yemen is the world’s worst for the second consecutive year due to the continued Saudi-American aggression and blockade against the Yemeni people.
The minster renewed his call for all international organizations working in the humanitarian field to be present and working on the ground in Yemen, stressing the readiness of the National government to facilitate difficulties that could faced by international organizations in different areas of their works.
