FM Meets the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Sana’a

The foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met today, the United Nations Resident humanitarian Coordinator to Yemen Jime McGoldrick.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of cooperation aspects between the Foreign Ministry and UN organizations in Yemen.
Minister Hisham Sharaf stressed the commitment of the National Salvation Government to provide all facilities to all international organizations operating in Yemen, which play a major humanitarian role in providing the necessary humanitarian assistance and alleviating the suffering of Yemenis due to the Saudi-American barbaric aggression and an unjust, illegal and unprecedented land, air and sea blockade that contributed greatly to the spread of cholera epidemic, severe malnutrition, and delaying the access of medical assistance as well as drugs for chronic diseases.
He also renewed his call to all international media to come to Yemen to see the reality of the situation and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the country away from the propaganda of the Saudi media and its allies.
The foreign Minister also welcomed the field visits of the head officials of UN organizations, programs and agencies to the affected areas to see the human tragedy in Yemen despite all obstacles imposed by the Saudi-led coalition aggression and it’s mercenaries to hinder the work of the humanitarian organizations and their workers .
