National Commission for Women Condemns the Massacre of Mawza’a in Taiz

The National Commission for Women condemned the crime of the Saudi-led coalition aggression in Mawza’a district of Taiz province, which claimed the lives of 22 people, including seven women.

In a statement,  the National Commission  said that the targeting of innocent civilians, including women and children, is a clear and flagrant violation of the rights and freedoms enshrined in all divine legislation, international laws and social norms.

The UN and Security Council have to play their role and responsibilities towards these crimes and violations to protect women and children in accordance with International Covenants, the statement added

The statement called on the international community to stand firm in the face of the crimes, massacres and the persistent violations against the Yemeni people committed by the Saudi-American aggression since two years and a half
