Units of the Yemeni army and popular committees have stopped advancing attempts carried out by groups of Saudi’ mercenaries in the southern province of Lhajj, hours after a failed attempt in Karash directorate.
A military source told “Khabar” News Agency news that the units of Yemeni army backed by the popular committees repulsed advancing attempts for Saudi’s mercenaries to creep towards “ Kahboub” district in al-Madariba’a directorate, leaving deaths and injuries among the mercenaries’ ranks .
Units of the Yemeni Army and popular committees have engaged in fierce battles over the past months in the strategic “Kahboub” mountains, which serve as road safety in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
