The head of the Supreme Political Council, Saleh al-Samad met today at the Presidential palace the Acting Charge d’affaires of the Russian Embassy in Sana’a, Andrei Chernovol, in the presence of Jaber al-Wahbani a member of the Council.
During the meeting, they discussed the friendly efforts of Russia to achieve peace in Yemen and its permanent position with the peaceful solution.
Al-Samad praised the Russian role in countering of terrorism and its concern for global peace, appreciating their positions towards the justice and peace issues.
In his part, the acting charge d’Affaires of the Russian Embassy in Sana’a renewed his country’s position in support of peace in Yemen through political solution and its keenness on the stability and unity of Yemen.
