Today, the General Authority for the Regulation of Land Transport Affairs a meeting in the presence of Waleed Abdullah Al-Wadai, Chairman of the Regulatory Authority, the Minister of Transport and Local Administration of the Youth Government Majid Al-Kohlani and Mohammad Al-Waqidi.
The meeting dealt with the activities of the two Ministers with regard to the land transport affairs and the role played by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority in overseeing and supervising all road transport activities.
Al-Kahlani and Al- Waqidi stressed the need to overcome the difficulties faced by the Authority and coordinate efforts between the Ministries of Local Administration and Transport to discuss issues that contribute to enabling the Authority to play its role to improve transport services and provide the public treasury with revenues.
The Chairman praised the efforts of the Minister of Transport and the local administration of the Youth Government in conducting field studies on the transport sector, which touches on the obstacles that are hindering the improvement of road transport services.
He also invited them to participate in the consultative meeting, which will include all relevant parties and is scheduled to be in next month with the aim of promoting land transport activities and services to provide the best services to citizens.
