The Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz Saleh bin Habtoor met yesterday in Sana’a Yahya Yusuf Musa, the rabbi of the Jewish community in Yemen.
During the meeting, they discussed the situation of the Jewish community and its needs in the face of the Saudi-American aggression and Blockade on country.
“The existence of the Jewish community to this day in Yemen is proof of the spirit of coexistence and tolerance that characterizes Yemeni society from other societies, pointing out that the government, in accordance with its constitutional and legal responsibility, is concerned with the welfare of the various sects and communities of society, including the Jewish community,” the Prime mister said
In his part, Rabbi Yahya Yusuf Musa expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the Prime Minister’s interaction with the Jewish community in Yemen, stressing their steadfastness in their homeland Yemen despite the difficult conditions caused by the aggression and blockade on the Yemeni people with all its sects.
