Calls To Break the Blockade and Impose Sanctions on The Countries of Aggression

In parallel to the statements of top UN officials and humanitarian organizations denied the lies of the alliance of the KSA- UAE aggression regarding the reopening of Sana’a International Airport and the port of Hodeida.

The barbaric aggression coalition said yesterday claiming that 42 permits were granted  for ships and relief planes to arrive at Sana’a International Airport and Hodeida port, while airport and port officials confirmed that the coalition of aggression continue to block off shipments of humanitarian aid and goods considering it war crime, calling on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to act immediately to break the  blockade on Yemen and to  imposed sanctions on the Saudi and UAE regimes.

The United Nations declared that it had received only one permit for an aircraft transporting relief workers from Jordan to Sana’a airport without any humanitarian assistance, it also confirmed the Saudi alliance blocked 32 UN flights to Sana’a airport.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said  that the closure of the Yemeni ports Have been hampering the delivery of humanitarian and commercial supplies, and have hindered the movement of aid workers, causing new economic pressures that increase  the suffering of the population after Years of war on Yemen .

The Saudi blockade on Yemeni ports has led to a rise in fuel prices by a rate of about 60 percent, with a 133 percent increase in the price of water transported by tanks, The UN High Commissioner for Refugees said

As commercial traffic hinders, commodity prices, including food and water transported by tanks, gas and fuel, are rising too, she added

International research centers, international and Yemeni activists called on the United Nations to leave the state of silence and to take serious steps and measures to break the blockade, calling on the UN Security Council to impose Sanctions against the Saudi Arabian and Emirati regimes and  countries involved in the embargo against Yemen as they continue to violate international laws and are blatantly impeding the humanitarian and relief activities of the United Nations
