The army and the Popular Committees restored full control over areas of strategic and important military positions in Nehim Front east of Sana’a province .
The military source said that specialized units of the heroes of the army and popular committees, carried out a large-scale military operation on the positions of the mercenaries. The operation was with the participation of artillery units, snipers and pedestrians units .
According to the source, during the operation, the army and popular committees were able to regain full control of the eastern and western positions of Ida, al-Masa’a and Wattah Ayyash, after they were completely cleared of mercenaries .
The source confirmed the death and wounding of dozens of mercenaries during the large operation and control of their positions . The source pointed out that a large number of mercenaries were killed while the remaining of them escaped, leaving behind the bodies of a number of dead .
According to the source, during the operation, the army and popular committees were able to seize various quantities of weapons and ammunition .
