Ministry of Public Health and population strongly condemned the allegations of Saudi “Okaz” daily newspaper concerning the spread of avian influenza “Birds Flu “in Yemen.
In statement to SABA, the official spokesman of the ministry Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Kahlani denounced the lies and allegations propagated by the newspaper over the spread of the disease.
“It has not been confirmed whether the cases infected with what so-called bird flu (H5N1) or swine flu (H1N1) because of shortage of laboratory solutions and medicines since due to the Saudi-led coalition aggression and blockade,” al-Kahlani added.
The official spokesman called on local, Arab and international public opinion to return to the official statements issued by the Ministry about the flu.
