Local sources in the province of Aden reported that unidentified gunmen assassinated a senior security official Sunday.
The sources said that the gunmen assassinated deputy director of security of the region Hadi Rashid Saleh.
The security official was killed in the Bir Fadl area and the gunmen fled to an unknown destination after the crime was committed.
The city of Aden is witnessing repeated assassinations in the light of the current security chaos due to the spread of armed militias .
