Yemeni army and popular committees’ forces targeted the positions of Saudi-backed mercenaries in the kingdom’s southwestern border region of Asir, killing dozens of Sudanese militants there.
According to Saba news agency, dozens of Sudanese mercenaries were killed when Yemeni forces shelled their military outposts in al-Alab border crossing of Asir on Saturday.
During the attack, a large amount of Saudi weaponry was also destroyed. The Saudi mercenaries suffered serious casualties in the operation.
The attack came in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians and destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure by the Saudi-led coalition.
