UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich strongly condemned Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on a wedding party in Yemen’s Hajjah province and on civilian vehicles in Taiz province, which killed at least 50 civilians, including children, and injured dozens.
The UN Secretary-General called for a prompt, effective and transparent investigation into those incidents, according to his spokesman.
Guterich reminded all parties of their obligations under the international humanitarian law with regard to the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure during armed conflicts.
