Médecins Sans Frontières organization said that the raids by the Saudi-led coalition on the populated neighborhood of the capital Sana’a have killed at least six people and wounded at least 72 .
MSF said in a statement received by the official Saba news agency that “The MSF-backed Repulbic Hospitals Sana’a have witnessed a mass influx of people killed and wounded in raids targeting a presidential office near a hotel, pharmacy, a bank and shops”.
“Civilians, including children, have been killed and maimed by these raids,” said Joao Martins, head of the MSF delegation in Yemen .
He added “No one should live under the fear of being bombarded in their daily lives, but once again we see civilians being the victims of air strikes and struggling to survive in hospitals . ”
The statement confirmed that Médecins Sans Frontières sent additional supplies to the two hospitals and asked a psychologist to provide psychosocial support to patients and their families at the Republican Hospital .
