Public Health Ministry Calls To rescue kidney transplant patients in Yemen

The Ministry of Public Health and Population launched a distress call to rescue kidney transplant patients in Yemen .

Dr. Al-Mutawakel said in a call for relief, which he launched during his meeting today with a number of kidney transplant patients , that the health of patients is poor and will be subject to complications that may lead to death at any moment due to lack of medicines .

He Called on the United Nations, international organizations and donors to respond to this call for the provision of medicines to patients with macroeconomics .

Minister Al-Mutawakel pointed to the suffering of the Yemeni people and the sick in particular as a result of the continued aggression and blockade  . He also pointed out that the closure of Sana’a International Airport prevented the travel of hundreds of those who need kidney transplant .

The Minister of Health renewed the demand of the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to pressure the coalition of aggression to open sea ports, air and land to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, which is going through the largest human tragedy in the world .
