The Yemeni Armyand popluar commitees on Saturday foiled intensive infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed mercenaries in the outskirts of Harad district off Najran province, inflecting heavy losses in the mercenires’ ranks, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
Dozens of militias were killed and others injured during their attempts to advance towards outskirts of Harad district of Hajjah province, the official added.
The official said that the US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged over 80 air strikes on the district to back its mercenaries in their failed attempts to make progress on the ground.
