Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein al-Azzi, on Sunday met with the resident representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the And United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the capital Sanaa.
During the meeting, they discussed the efforts exerted by the two organizations to receive the displaced people from the province of Hodeidah, which is witnessing an escalation by the coalition countries.
Al-Azzi stressed on the need to provide the necessary support for the displaced people to alleviate their suffering and meet their basic needs.
For their part, the representatives of the Immigration and Refugee Affairs Commission said that the humanitarian response to the recent repercussions in Hodeidah is a priority for all United Nations organizations working in Yemen.
