The Yemeni army and popular committees were able to secure and cleanse some areas were under the control of coalition-backed mercenaries in Hodeidah province, a military official told Saba News Agency.
The official confirmed that the army forces secured Mashyakhi Village which is located between Jah and Majalis districts after fierce battles, left dozens of militias between dead and wounded and seized large quantities of weapons in Mashyakhi Village.
The army destroyed a military vehicle during the attack, the official added.
