International seismic monitoring centers said that an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck at dawn on Friday some of the coasts of Mahrah province, eastern Yemen.
The earthquake hit the coast of Qashn district, which is about 50 kilometers from the central of the district into the sea, according to the centers.
The quake did not cause any losses.
