The Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned the silence of the United Nations on the crimes committed by the coalition of aggression on a daily basis, the latest of which is the crime of wedding party in the area of Ghafra in Sa’ada governorate .
In a statement received by the Yemeni news agency SABA, the ministry condemned the brutal crime committed by the US-Saudi warplane targeting a wedding in the region of Ghafra, killing 11 citizens and injuring 11 others .
“This crime occurred and the UN envoy in Sanaa and the President of the UN Security Council is preparing to adopt a solution negotiations in Yemen.” It is surprising that the United Nations and its humanitarian and human rights organizations deal with what is happening in Yemen .” the statement said .
The Ministry of Health urged international organizations to do their duty, intensify their medical and pharmaceutical assistance and speed up their procedures .
The statement pointed out that the slow response of the organizations to the catastrophic health situation in Yemen that increases the number of wounded victims and patients of chronic diseases .
The Ministry pointed out that this situation calls for urgent and rapid action to meet the needs of the health sector identified by the ministry .
