The sniper unit of the Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday shot dead one of the Saudi-backed mercenaries and wounded another in Lahj province, a military official told Saba Agency.
The sniping operation took place in al-Humarah area, where the mercenaries were stationed, the official added.
