Local sources in the southern province of Aden reveled that more than one hundred of the detainees in secret prisons in the province began a comprehensive hunger strike .
The sources said that one hundred and two arbitrarily detainees in the prison of Bir Ahmed, managed by the UAE forces began on Monday their hunger strike to press the prison administration to release forty detainees sentenced to release them from the Public Prosecutor’s Office , however, the prison administration refused to implement .
The sources added that a protest was carried out in the courtyard of the prison yesterday, followed by the start of the strike and is scheduled to continue until all the demands are implemented .
The source Pointed out that the prison administration did not show any response to the demands of detainees and did not receive the Yemeni justice system any interest because it does not work according to the directives of officers Emiratis .
