In a statement obtained by Saba News Agency, The Red Sea Ports Foundation said that these false attacks come in the context of the war waged by the Saudi-led aggression coalition against Yemeni ports, especially the port of Hodeidah.

According to the statement, the port of Hodeidah provides civil services to 80% of the Yemeni people, one of the civilian objects to which the Yemeni people rely on it and humanitarian law criminalizes any attack or attempt to undermine its works.

The Foundation noted that its work is civil and service-oriented, in accordance with Yemeni, international and humanitarian maritime laws, which are repeatedly confirmed by UN officials when they visited the foundation and the port, the statement read.

The statement also called on the media to be accurate and credible in its handling of news and information from its sources.
