Spokesman of the Yemeni Army Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarea on Saturday said that Saudi-led coalition and its militias committed 223 violations since the declaration of the cease-fire agreement in Hodeidah province last Monday.
Sarea explained, in a statement to Yemen News Agency (Saba) that the coalition violations varied between launching of 51 rockets and 155 various artillery shells, heavy bombing of medium and light weapons on residential neighborhoods, and several attempts of infiltrations and movements that coincided with intensive flying of warplanes and reconnaissance and Apache planes in the skies of Hodeidah.
He added that the coalition war jets waged 42 air raids on separate areas in Sanaa, Saada Jawf and Marib provinces over the past 48 hours.
