The New York Times published an article entitled “The tragedy in Yemen was made in America”
The article presented stories of people who lost their lives due to the air strike that targeted Arhab district in the countryside of the capital Sana’a in September 2016 and showed how the life of people became a nightmare because of war .
The newspaper pointed out that the bombs used in that attack was carrying ID numbers granted by the US Department of Defense, by a company in Taxes
“In 2015, the United States sent an aircraft carrier, a guided missile ship and other warships to impose a blockade on Yemen,” the newspaper said in its article .
The newspaper said that US bombs hit factories, roads, bridges, hospitals, wells, funerals, weddings, gatherings of women, school buses full of children in Yemen .
The newspaper pointed that the blockade and air raids, 85,000 children under the age of five have lost their lives and a cholera epidemic has spread in 21 provinces in the poorest country in the Arabian Peninsula .
