Over 153 Saudi-led coalition paid fighters arrested in Marib: Army Spokesman

Yemen’s army forces Spokesman Yahya Sarie said in a statement on Friday that the army captured over153 Saudi-led coalition’s paid fighters in an attack on strategic sites in Serwah district of Marib province.

“The attack targets sites of the militias in a mountainous chain of Hailan, Attias and positions of Zaid al-Aqil and Al-Alam overlooking Marib city, also killing and wounding dozens of the militias, including leaders,” said the spokesman.

Sarie affirmed that the army targeted a number of the military vehicles of the paid fighters, killed and wounded their crew members in the attack.

Brigadier General Yahia Sari added” the operation comes in response to the coalition’s military escalation and its mercenaries in Nehm front.”
