The Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has condemned the massacre of Yemeni civilians at al-Rabsa roundabout in Hodeidah by the Saudi-led invaders, which left 18 people between dead and wounded.

In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said “While consultations are going on in Sweden amid an international atmosphere of peace, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition and its allies in Yemen are meeting all initiatives to stop fighting by intransigence on the table and on the ground.”

Al-Houthi continued by saying: “I strongly condemn the deliberate bombing of civilians, and we regret that crimes of the coalition, which are against all laws and charters of the United Nations, continue.”

The latest crime is a message expressing the negativity, recklessness and chaos of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its allies, the statement said.

“At a time when the world is moving to support peace and sending positive messages, and shows great sadness about the tragic effects of aggression and blockade on the Yemeni people, this crime came as a serious attempt to obstruct peace consolations in Sweden aimed at halting the war and bringing peace to Yemen.”

The statement blamed the United States of America, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and allied countries for the aggression against Yemen.

Al-Houthi’s statement also praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Sweden and the efforts of the UN envoy and other peace campaigns.

Mohammad al-Houthi concluded by calling on the Gulf Summit to be held today in order to adopt a rational stance, in which the regimes involved in the aggression should announce that they would stop committing massacres and crimes against the Yemeni people.
