At least two people were injured on Saturday in a stabbing attack by gunmen in the Southern port City of Aden, local sources said.
The stabbing attack took place in Crater district, the sources added.
According to the local sources, the gunmen had stabbed two citizens the first one called Ahmed Khaled Saleh was stabbed in the neck, and the other one called Ahmed Fajer.
The gunmen committed their crime and fled the scene, one of the sources said.
The sources confirmed that the real motivations behind the crime were not yet unknown.
The sources, however, were likely to be the cause of cannabis addiction, especially since the gunmen had a history of promoting hashish.
The first casualty was taken to the Republic Hospital and his health condition was stable, while the second victim left the hospital and his condition is good.
The searching for the suspects are still ongoing, to find out the causes and motives of the crime, the sources said.
“The attack comes as a part of the security chaos in Aden and other occupied provinces in the south of Yemen, which has allowed armed militants to reinforce their positions in areas nominally under Saudi or Emirati control.
