The Yemeni army and popular committees on Friday were able to clear several military locations in Hajjah province, northern Yemen, a military told Saba News Agency.
According to the official, special units of the army forces launched an offensive on sites of the Saudi-hired mercenaries in the southern part of Nar mountain of Hardh district.
The official confirmed that dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured in the attack.
The army forces liberated at least 15 locations were controlled by the mercenaries in addition to inflicting heavy losses in the lives and military equipment, the official said.
The offensive is a strong message to the Saudi-led aggression forces, which stated that the army forces launched a new phase of confrontations with the aggression forces and they moved from defense to attack tactic.
