The Yemeni army and popular committees on Sunday repelled attacks carried out by mercenaries loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Najran region, a military official Saba News Press Agency.
The battle, which took place in Shaja’a site left dozens of mercenaries dead and wounded, the official said.
According to the official, the attack lasted for several hours with the participation of the coalition’s warplanes and apache but without making any progress on the ground.
Earlier in the day, the rocketry forces of the Yemeni army fired Zilizal- 1 missile on gatherings of the Saudi-hired mercenaires in Boqa desert, killing and injuring dozens of them.
