The head of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Abdul Qader Al-Murtadha has said that the recent round of the Amman consultation on the prisoners’ file has been extended with three more days.
During the previous meetings in Amman, Al-Murtadha said that there was an understanding for the exchange of prisoners, according to agreed-upon lists.
He added that reaching a comprehensive agreement is now difficult because of the obstacles made by the Saudi party, but remarked that there are understandings to be implemented in stages in the future.
During the previous meetings, the Riyadh-backed d delegation had given no new information on the Yemenis they hold in prison, except for the names of only 200 people that they published earlier.
